The room — Size, equipment and bedding

Soundproofed windows of the studio apartments (ca. 25-35 sqm in size) have a view onto the street. Each apartment has two beds or a double bed and one extra bed — recommended for children for just a couple of days — can be placed in it (maximum 3 persons per apartment). Air-conditioned and smoking apartments are available upon request. The studios are equipped with:

- ADSL internet connection

- air-conditioner on request

- soundproofed windows

- TV-set

- radio with alarm clock

- hard wood parquet

- kitchenette with:

- refrigerator

- microwave oven

- toaster

- coffee/tea machine

- pots and pans

- electric hob (hot plate, cooking place)

- bathroom (shower, hair-dryer).

We supply bed linen, sheets, blankets, towels, toilet paper, iron and ironing board in your studio apartment. Washing machine is not placed in the apartment but a laundry service is available upon request on scene.

The apartments were designed along the same internal architecture principles; so despite the slight differences each apartment mostly offers the same space and comfort.

Air-conditioned studios are available from June, 2008. Your request must be marked at the very first inquiry because we can't guarantee the possibility of changing room-type later. With choosing aircon option you accept bearing daily 8 EUR surcharge that is not subject of rate reductions applicable to room rates.

Internet access in room, sound-proofed windows, non-smoking rooms, well-equipped kitchen, pots and pans, fridge, microwave oven, final cleaning, refreshing cleanings after every 5-7 nights, bedclothes and sheets (changed at the time of cleanings), towels (changed regularly; after 3-4 nights), colour TV (international channels), radio alarm clock, writing desk, maps, bathroom with shower, hot water 24/7, hair-dryer, large wardrobe, coathangers, iron, ironing board, laundry room, hard wood parquet, late arrival (must be arranged well in advance).

The building — When you arrive (payment)

The person who meets you (gives you the keys) when you arrive at Kalvin Apartments will provide all necessary information regarding your stay in the studio apartment and in Budapest. We hope to make your stay in our city a pleasant, comfortable and memorable one.

Tourist guidebooks, program booklets, area maps and brochures for Budapest sightseeing tours are also available. A Concert & Media ticket office is located at the ground floor in the building. Parking is becoming a difficult issue in Budapest; we can't offer parking places but we can recommend a couple of parking garages and lots in the area (daily ticket is ca. 12-20 EUR).

All taxes are included in our price. Since Kalvin Apartments are self-catering accommodation breakfast is not included. Payment in cash upon arrival (no cheques accepted; credit card payment over the internet on secure PayPal website). For long stays we apply individual prices.
